Original intention of the
membership forms was to have sufficient numbers ready for January when we expect a battle for our deeds.
We now
feel that there is a need to bring it forward in view of what we have heard about a `club'. Previous
enquiries about a `club' have brought vague responses with no one at Leptos prepared to tell us what the `club' entails.
Club
a. Have heard second hand from Peter Simister (Kyriakos) that Leptos want to build club but are looking at ways for residents to pay for it. i.e.: Maintenance.
b. Not one resident we have
spoken to want a club.
Water
Meters
a. We
are being charged £45 for a water meter, there is no
mention in contract of this. I
thought that water meter was included in the total cost of the property.
b. On registration with Water Board we were
required to pay £20 in advance, if
indeed we have to pay for a water meter, why not pay the
water board.
c. We have heard that the Water Board charges £35
for a water meter, if this so what is the extra £10 that Leptos
are asking for?
Deeds
At a future date we
expect a battle with Leptos regarding the issue of
deeds. Heard of malpractices whereby Leptos will deliberately not finish a property so they
cannot obtain the deeds from Cypriot
Authorities.
Maintenance
a. It has already been hinted that charges will
be high.
