            The residents association was formed to obtain the best deal possible on the transition from the site being Leptos to being controlled by us ‘the residents’.

 

  1. To obtain deeds as quickly as possible.

  2. To ensure Leptos set a fair price for maintaining the complex.

  3. Attempting to understand the confusion that is called Property tax, so that we will at least know that the charges are correct.

  4. Ensuring that the site is maintained properly by Vesta Holidays eg

    1. Pools are cleaned regularly.        

    2. the correct amount of chlorine is added to the water,

    3. gardens are maintained, Apartment stairwells and corridors are cleaned.

    4. Basically ensuring that ‘Vesta’ carry out the tasks we are paying for through Maintenance charges.

    5.      Ensuring that all other site facilities are up to standard eg:

    1. Rubbish Collection,

    2. Electric,

    3. Phone,

    4. Sewage etc.

Experience tells us that we will only obtain a fair deal by being part of a group (Residents Association} and having legal representation. The CYŁ10 per year fee is to pay for this legal representation.

These aims for the Association were the last work Brian did before his untimely death, we will always be indebted to Brian for his drive and enthusiasm in getting the Association started.
